Why LATCH Exists

A distracted driver crossed the double white HOV lines on I-15 and struck my vehicle at highway speeds.

That accident changed my life.

During recovery, I kept asking one question:

What if the phone simply wasn't available while someone was driving?

That question became LATCH.

Today we're building a motion-aware driving safety platform designed to help reduce distracted driving and encourage safer habits before accidents happen.

That experience became the reason LATCH was built.

After more than 100 real-world trips and over 100 hours of driving while latched, LATCH is preparing for public release on the App Store.
